Following the success of the national edition, since 2022 Didacta Italia has also been extended to other regions with its spin-off editions. 

The first 3 spin-off editions were held in South Italy - Sicily in 2022 and 2023, and Puglia in 2024 - thanks to the synergy and co-operation of Regions, and local institutions. 

The 2025 spin-off edition of Didacta Italia was held in Riva del Garda, Trentino, from 22nd to 24th October 2025 in co-operation with the Autonomous Province of Trento.
