The Fortezza da Basso is the only Italian congress and exhibition center hosted inside a real Renaissance architectural masterpiece.

LEAVE YOUR CAR, CATCH THE TRAMWAY!
The Villa Costanza Car Park is a car-tramway parking lot. You can access it directly from the A1 motorway thanks to a dedicated exit between Scandicci and Impruneta, coming both from north and south. You can park your car and access the terminus of the T1 tramway line connecting Scandicci to the Florence city centre.

The Fortezza da Basso hosts the Fair, and is located in the Florence city centre.
From A1 Motorway (Milan-Rome) or A11 (Pisa-Florence):
EXIT: Firenze Nord or Firenze Sud
Follow directions to “Centro città” (City Centre) and “Fortezza da Basso”.
The Fortezza da Basso is not located within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Area), but in its immediate vicinity.

SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
Venue of the event, the Fortezza da Basso is located at the heart of Florence, just a few steps away from the Duomo, and from the Santa Maria Novella central railway station. Florence is a walking-distance city, where all the main attractions can be reached on foot from the Fortezza da Basso.
You can get to the Fair by tramway and by other types of public transport that connect the city centre to the suburbs, or you can rent a bike or a scooter and benefit from the bike sharing service.
If you arrive from the motorway, you can optimise travel times and reduce urban pollution by catching the tramway and leaving your car at the “Drive and Tramway” parking area located at the exit ‘Villa Costanza’ – if you arrive from A1 Motorway – or at the parking area in Viale Guidoni, if you come from the A11 Motorway.
Opposite the Fortezza da Basso, you will find the T1 and T2 stops of the tramway, through which you can easily reach various areas in the city.

VILLA COSTANZA PARKING AREA
The parking area of Villa Costanza is a “drive and tramway” car park. You can access it directly from the A1 motorway thanks to the dedicated exit “Villa Costanza” between Scandicci and Impruneta, both northbound and southbound. Park your car and access the terminal of line T1 of the tramway to Careggi Ospedale.

T2 GUIDONI PARKING AREA
If you arrive from the A11 motorway, you can leave your car at the “drive and tramway” car park Guidoni, located in Viale XI Agosto. From here, you can easily reach the Florence city centre and the Fortezza da Basso thanks to the T2 stop of of the tramway to San Marco Università – Stop: Fortezza Fiere e Congressi, and bus line no.23 – Stop: Beslan T1 Fortezza.
BY TRAIN
The Santa Maria Novella central railway station is only a 2-minute walk from the main entrance of the Fortezza da Basso.
The other railway stations in the city – Firenze Rifredi and Firenze Campo di Marte – are located ten minutes away from the S.M. Novella station, and they are well connected to it thanks to local trains and buses.
