DIDACTA ITALIA – Trentino Edition, held at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre from October 22 to 24, recorded a remarkable turnout from the education community, with nearly 8,000 participants. For three days, Riva del Garda transformed into the capital of the Alpine school world.
Across an area of over 25,000 square meters, 287 exhibitors showcased the latest innovations in key strategic sectors of an ever-evolving educational landscape, including robotics, AI, the metaverse, augmented reality, environmental and green education, and language training.
During the three days, 1,000 training events placed education, innovation, and research at the heart of the fair.
A central highlight of the event was the International Conference on Small Schools, titled Playing their part: Small and rural schools – Smart schooling and Networking. The conference provided an opportunity for dialogue between Italian and European experiences, emphasizing the role of small schools and educational communities in local and global contexts as engines of innovation and educational equity.
Once again, Didacta Italia proved to be not merely an event, but a place of exchange and cross-fertilization of experiences, where collaboration among schools, institutions, and the research community generates value. It represented a moment of collective growth that reinforces Trentino’s commitment to being a national benchmark in the field of education and training.
