The second edition of Didacta Italia – Sicilian Edition 2023 took place in Misterbianco, in the province of Catania, inside the venues of SICILIAFIERA Exhibition Meeting Hub, from 12th to 14th October 2023. The Fair saw an amazing growth in terms of visitors - over 9,000 with a +28% compared to the 2022 edition, and coming from many Southern Regions in Italy, but also from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia, thanks to the project ‘Study in Sicily’ curated by INDIRE. Once again, this confirms the effectiveness of the DIDACTA ITALIA format (a spin-off of Didacta International) for the educational training in the Region of Sicily, and in other regions in South Italy.

The event saw a wide participation in the events - held inside the 22,000 square metres of the four pavilions – from teachers, school managers, professionals, and sector experts who also visited the booths of the 175 companies participating to discover the latest novelties and to participate in the training events of the three-day fair, including seminars, workshops, conferences, and meetings.

The spotlight of the second edition of Didacta Italia- Sicilian Edition was turned on artificial intelligence, to understand how integration between AI and the school world is important and crucial to train future generations.

Many themes were discussed, offering proposals and solutions in the sector of electronics, robotics, augmented reality, innovative 4.0 educational environments, learning eco-systems, latest-generation digital and editorial contents, and also organizing immersive events to combine traditional didactics and interactive technology.
