Didacta Italia – Puglia Edition was held in Bari inside the venues of Nuova Fiera del Levante, from 16th  to 18th  October 2024, seeing record attendance from teachers, school managers, professionals, and sector operators, who participated in training events and visited the Fair. 

The over 11,000 visitors confirmed the validity of the format of Didacta Italia (a spinoff of Didacta International) for the training and innovation of Italian schools of all types and levels.

Over 150 exhibitors from the most important companies in the school sector and from the world of education in every sector – publishing, building, technologies, furnishing, stationery, services, museum education, tourist destinations, music education training – presented themselves and exhibited on a surface of over 12,000 square metres.

Didacta Italia – Puglia Edition 2024 was dedicated to the extraordinary figure of Italian historian Gaetano Salvemini (Molfetta 1873 – Sorrento 1957) who, thanks to his “Writings about education” and his thinking, significantly contributed to build the free and thinking school system that we all know today.

 

The Region of Puglia actively participated in the event with large institutional areas to promote and spread opportunities offered to the education world by the PR PUGLIA FESR – FSE+ 2021-2027.

Inside its booth, the Region of Puglia hosted innovative and creative projects by local educational institutions to support the creativity of schools in Puglia, encouraging the introduction of new technologies and methods, and contributing to the creation of innovative teaching spaces.

Special attention was given to projects concerning art in all its various forms, but also to sustainable tourism, STEM, tasting, initiatives to support active citizenship, inclusion, new communication strategies such as a correct use of the web and of social media by students, up to actual dance, music, and theatre performing activities.
