ORDINE DEGLI PSICOLOGI DELLA TOSCANA
General informations
Ordine degli Psicologi della Toscana (OPT) is the public body
responsible for regulating and safeguarding the psychology profession
in the Tuscany region. It promotes high professional standards and
supports initiatives aimed at protecting and enhancing citizens’
psychological well-being.
Within the educational field,
OPT considers schools a strategic setting for fostering well-being
and preventing psychological distress among younger generations.
Schools are not only places of academic learning, but key
environments where identity, relationships, emotional competencies
and social skills are developed.
For this reason,
psychology plays a fundamental role in supporting students, teachers,
school leaders and families. Psychological expertise contributes to
promoting inclusion, strengthening relational dynamics, supporting
orientation processes, addressing emerging vulnerabilities and
enhancing individual and collective resources.
OPT
promotes a culture of prevention and listening, encouraging qualified
psychological interventions within educational contexts. The goal is
to help build school environments where educational and relational
dimensions are integrated, and where psychological well-being is
recognized as an essential component of effective learning
processes.
At Didacta Italia, OPT presents itself as an
institutional partner for the education system, offering professional
expertise, dialogue and collaboration to strengthen the connection
between schools and the psychology profession, in the interest of
educational communities and the wider society.
